  10. In a question in this video when two boys throw a ball in opposite direction one boy is throwing ball upward so why g is not taken negative.
    6 years ago by Ajay Kumbhar
    Ans 1 ->
    g is taken as -ve .....see acceleration of a two bodies moving towards each other is their sum of acceleration.As the acceleration of the ball thrown up is -g.....g (-g)=g-g...

  16. In first example, you have stated that ball at bottom to be rest, then how we are using relative velocity concept here?

  20. IN the Collision question.AS acceleration of A and B are in Opposite directions the Shouldn't the Relative acceleration be A-B?? please Explain how it is -(A+B)
    7 years ago by Sabaresh Sabaresh
    Ans 1 ->
    As their acceleration are in opposite direction relative acceleration will be sum of the two...

  22. Sir there is a mistake in the problem of collision of two balls because the lower ball will not remain in air till 4 seconds!!!!!
    8 years ago by Ankit Kumar
    Ans 1 ->
    Yes that's true!
    8 years ago by Harsh Gupta
    Ans 2 ->
    That is why are reverting and adding it's velocity as your reference is the lower ball.
    7 years ago by Sudarshana Ghosh
    Ans 3 ->
    So what.They can collide at ground also.check the time for B to coming to the ground...
    7 years ago by Shah Darshan Jagdishbhai
    Ans 4 ->
    Sorry friends...i had made a mistake...B is not taking 4sec.

  24. Sir in this video you have calculated the time when the balls will collide i.e. t=4s but if we see the time of flight of ball A it comes out to be 2u/g i.e. t=1s then how can they collide at t=4s

  28. Sir in this video you have first taken A to be at rest so why did you added the velocities of both A and B while taking relative velocity of B with respect to A because you have considered B to be at rest?
    9 years ago by Yash Selot
    Ans 1 ->
    As we are calculating vel of B with respect to A or as observed in the frame of A, we need to add velocities as these are in opposite direction and as seen by A vel of B will be vA + vB
